HD KSOE Secures Key Approvals for Hydrogen Tank Technology
HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co., an intermediate holding company of HD Hyundai's shipbuilding division, announced on Jan. 14 that it has recently obtained approval in principle (AIP) for vacuum insulation technology of liquefied hydrogen tanks from four classification societies affiliated with the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS), including Lloyd's Register (LR). This milestone marks a significant advancement in the commercialization of hydrogen as a clean energy source.
