German government and industry consider return of Nord Stream pipeline – media report
The German government and industry players are considering using parts of the contentious Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline connecting Russia and Germany through the Baltic Sea for hydrogen deliveries from Finland in the future, reported Handelsblatt based on industry “insider” sources. Several government spokespeople, however, told Handelsblatt that no talks had been conducted on using the pipeline and there were no plans to revive the project.
